Lai Chi Wo farmers grow fleshy ginger and turmeric in an environmentally friendly way, which takes 10 months to grow underground. Both ginger species are beneficial to the body in Chinese medicine and nutrition. They use the natural benefits of ginger to develop their own favourite ginger food and skin care products, bringing the hard work of local farmers to life and to the people of the city, and they hope to strengthen sustainable local agriculture in Hong Kong.
